Marcgravia rectiflora is a shingling plant that will vine and creep upwards. It is one of the faster growing and more forgiving members of the genus, and thus, is relatively affordable compared to many of the other more coveted varieties. All our 2″ pots are well rooted and have fresh growing tips. Normal/regular sized smaller offerings may consist of a single growing lead with up to 10 leaves, medium sizes may be simply larger or have two growing tips, and our largest sizes generally have at least two growing tips and several inches of vine overall (the could be broken down into multiple new plants).
General Care Information
Native to Central and South America, this plant will appreciate air movement and not having water on its leaves for an extended period. It appreciates high humidity. It roots best in sphagnum and can be planted low and allowed to crawl up the vivarium background and wood.
