The Redhead Goby, aka. the Red-headed Goby, Elacatinus puncticulatus, or it’s awesome German name, Rotkopfgrundel, is a Cleaner Goby that hails from the Pacific side of Central America; one of the fish fishes kept from that region. It can reach a size of over 1.5″, still quite small and ideal for a nano fish. I’ve found these guys to be quarrelsome if they’re not a compatible male/female pair, and some online sources echo this sentiment. If you’re trying to pair them, having a net breeder would be a great failsafe if things don’t go your way.
